I my twenties I was influenced by the Pop artists of the 60s- Lichntenstein, Warhol and Rosenquist, primarily. I was doing doing editorial cartoons at the time for a weekly newspaper and it seemed to go hand in hand. I had a few exhibits in the Pop Art style in New Brunswick and in Louisiana, where I moved for a few years to teach French. Here are two examples of my earlier work:
